Food in Poland and smaller towns is quite easy to get, tasty...
Food in Poland and smaller towns is quite easy to get, tasty and affordable. The small bakeries are inexpensive and provide many options (as an example bakeries that provide options without yeast), including to specific dietary requirements, if you know where to go. Fruit and veggies are tasty and many are provided from local growers, especially in smaller shops (many in the Hala though many also outside this shopping area). Tarnowskie Góry has many spots to do food shopping, including the hala which has many small food and produce operators, specialist cheese shops, bakeries and pierogi producers, which can be bought frozen for a quick meal and local delicacy! The town has old school character, with the bells sounding every 15 minutes (?) and a daily duet bugle at midday. A good spot to acclimatise to Polish culture. Going to the forest looking for blueberries, red berries, other berries and local mushrooms is a must for fresh air!AAnonymous

We booked this apartment for one night and were fully satisfied with our choice. This is the perfect apartment, comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished with everything you need in the very center of the city. The main town squire with cozy restaurants is located next to the door and we spent the evening very nice).

There’s a playground for kids, horses and a beautiful garden. It’s close to the city center, there’s a lovely park nearby. The staff was really helpful most of the time. The reception is opened 24 hours. The room was clean and extremely cheap. I stayed during the weekend which was a great fun because next to the motel is a dance club and bar and you can walk there directly from the corridor.

The location is just an old villa transformed into a hotel. The room itself is quite 'tired' but for this money is completely OK. In general, good value for the money. The rooms are very large, full comfort is ensured. Fantastic silence. Beautiful and well-kept surroundings. Ample parking on the property.
